Well... I never now how to start these letters, but here we go, Life in Copan Ruinas Honduras, this week was good! we had some really good lessons, and for the first time here I was excited about investigadors, but we have still got a lot of work to do! The biggest thing this week was the rama and the activity.
The Rama is the thing on top of my mind all the time. It may not be good, becuase I am a missionary, but I sleep breath, think, eat, just aboiut everythibng with the rama and the memberst in my mind. I want so bad that these members progress and do whats right. Elder Lozano and I have been thinking so hard about what we can do to help them, and help this rama grow! Sometimes I feel like we are trying everything and nothing seems top be working. But I now that God has plans, and if the members will be obedient, this rama will grow.
But the other big thing is we are planning an open house here in Copan Ruinas at the Church! I have got a great feeling about it and amn super excited! We are going to invite everybody we can, so that the people here can learn and really know who are the mormons! Everybody here talk about the church, but theyt are all lies. So we are hopingh people will come to know the truth! We are planning to invite 1000 or more people and are hoping and planning for about 400 to come! I know that if we as a rama can work together for this goal with faith in god, we will see a miracle! This is what we need, and I am sure that this is what God wants, so its up to us to show our faith, be obedient, so God can bless us!
I love the Gospel so much! I am so amazed by the great plan of our Father in Heavan! I love the concept of Faith! And I know there is a reason it is the first principle of the Gospel! There are 4 things that we must do if we truly have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ
1- Believe
2- Read the scriptures, Learn about Gods will
3- Pray, pray for guidance and dirrection
4- Obey and do as God commands.
If we do these 4 things we truly have faith! But if we dont we dont have faith! Faith is not a believe, it is an accion. If I tell you this cake is really good and you believe me, you will eat it. It is the same with God. If you believe him, if you believe he loves you, if you believe he is all knowing, eat the cake, do as he says!
It is my wish and suplication that we ALL, as brothers and sisters of a loviong God, EAT THE CAKE!
