Choose to be CHANGED

Helo everyone! This week has been a good one! Elder Lozano and I are really trying to work hard and bring people unto christ! We have a lot of goals for this change and are super pumped! We also have founds some new investigadors that are really great, and need this gospel! 

Other then that, love is great here in Copan Ruinas! There is so much work to do! We are now really starting to get ready for the open house in the new capilla! This activity will be sweet! I am super excited for it, and I know if we have faith we will have a lot of success! 

I am also super pumped for Conference! I love general Conference! It is my favorite part of the year! I love learning and recieving help and guidance from christ through his servants and the Holy Ghsot! I have a lot of questions, and I am excited to recieve answers! 

I love this Gospel! I know with all m heart that this is the work of the Lord! I know and testify with all my soul that the Book of Mormon is another testimony of Jesus Christ! That it is the word of God, and like the Bible was written by prophets through revelation, as if it were written by God the Father and His son Jesus Christ thereselves! I tesify that Thomas S. Monson is the prohpet today! A prophet like those from the beggining. I know and am grateful for the Atonement of Christ! Jesus Christ litteraly took upon all the sins of the world that each one of us can be saved. But weather we want to be changed is up to us. We can choose! Like it explains in 2 Nephi, we can choose to be changed, to be happy through Christ, or be miserable through Satan! 

It is my hope and Prayer that we all choose to be happy, that we all choose to follow christ, be changed by christ, and become perfect as he, and the Father are Perfect!

Answer the Call

Hey everyone! Wow time is flying by! I can't believe that it is already P-day again! Life is going great here in Honduras! I am doing well, growing so much. 

This week was a good week. We started teaching somebody super pilas! Her name is Demi, and her husband work in the military and travels a lot, its hard for her and him. She is a mom of 2, and loves her family so much. She was telling us how she had been praying to god to help her be a better mom, a better spouse, and a better doughter of him, and I am sure, I know that God has answered her prayers. She is really great, and we are super excited o teach her more! 

Other then that, the rama is growing and improving! Elder Lozano and I have been talking a lot about what we can do, and we talked to Presidente Vega about some of our ideas. The biggest is be more focused and reverent in the sacrement meating. We also talked about how we need to set the example. So this sunday, 10 minutes before 9 we were seated and reading the scriptures, and then some members started to do the same, and then we actually started at 9! It was a great meating! The spirit was super strong. I know that the sacrement meating is verry important! I love the Conference talk that was given last november about preparing, ariving early, participating in the hymns and prayers, and thinking about Christ! Our goal is to really apply these principles! 

Other then that, I am super pumped for General Conference! I love general Conference! It is such a great oppertunity to learn and recieve revelation from Christ! I know this is his church! I know that he has called prophets in this dispensation to lead and guide us! I invite you all to go and answer the call of our savior! He has something to tell you in this general conference!

I love you all so much! I hope you all have a fantastic week!

Eat the Cake

Well... I never now how to start these letters, but here we go, Life in Copan Ruinas Honduras, this week was good! we had some really good lessons, and for the first time here I was excited about investigadors, but we have still got a lot of work to do! The biggest thing this week was the rama and the activity.

The Rama is the thing on top of my mind all the time. It may not be good, becuase I am a missionary, but I sleep breath, think, eat, just aboiut everythibng with the rama and the memberst in my mind. I want so bad that these members progress and do whats right. Elder Lozano and I have been thinking so hard about what we can do to help them, and help this rama grow! Sometimes I feel like we are trying everything and nothing seems top be working. But I now that God has plans, and if the members will be obedient, this rama will grow. 

But the other big thing is we are planning an open house here in Copan Ruinas at the Church! I have got a great feeling about it and amn super excited! We are going to invite everybody we can, so that the people here can learn and really know who are the mormons! Everybody here talk about the church, but theyt are all lies. So we are hopingh people will come to know the truth! We are planning to invite 1000 or more people and are hoping and planning for about 400 to come! I know that if we as a rama can work together for this goal with faith in god, we will see a miracle! This is what we need, and I am sure that this is what God wants, so its up to us to show our faith, be obedient, so God can bless us! 

I love the Gospel so much! I am so amazed by the great plan of our Father in Heavan! I love the concept of Faith! And I know there is a reason it is the first principle of the Gospel! There are 4 things that we must do if we truly have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ

1- Believe

2- Read the scriptures, Learn about Gods will

3- Pray, pray for guidance and dirrection

4- Obey and do as God commands. 

If we do these 4 things we truly have faith! But if we dont we dont have faith! Faith is not a believe, it is an accion. If I tell you this cake is really good and you believe me, you will eat it. It is the same with God. If you believe him, if you believe he loves you, if you believe he is all knowing, eat the cake, do as he says!

It is my wish and suplication that we ALL, as brothers and sisters of a loviong God, EAT THE CAKE!

Fruit of Christ = LOVE

Hola! Hey everybody! How are you all doing! I am doing great! This week has been a verry interesting one! There has been so much on my mind... We are trying so hard to share this gospel, and at the same time help the members be stronger, and progress. It`s been a verry humbling experience, seeing how we some times take so much for granted. Here in the rama, there are many members who can`t read, and all the people here don`t understand super easily. My companion and I have been thinking alot about what we can do to help the members understand the gopel better, and progress, when the don`t all have the ability to read and progress on there on. The members are all verry good, and have the desire to do what right, but just don`t have the understanding that so many of us have been blessed with. I find it verry interesting, because there is a scripture in Doctrine and Covanants that says it is our duty to read, and study and share the gospel. As member, and as people who have been blessed by god with gifts and talents, including reading, it is our duty to help those less fortunate. 

Something else that I have been studying and thinking about is the Love of God! I love 1 John and all it talks about with the love of God. God really does love us! I know that he does! And if we will love him, through serving him and loving others we will show our grattitude! I love the scripture that says, "God is love, and he who loves knows god, he who doesn`t love, doesnt know God." Love is so important. Love is the beggining and the end! I also think that Love is the fruit that christ is talking about. Christ said we can know if a prophet is a true prophet or a false prophet for their fruits! I know that only the true `prophets will truly love, love god, as well as there fellow men! 

I know and testify that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God! I know that he has this fruit! He has love in his heart! I love this Gospel! I love being a missionary! This is the Church of God! If you doubt, or would like to know if Thomas S. Monson is a prohpet I would invite you to listen or watch the General Conference April 2nd and 3rd, and pray to know as well as give attention to the love that these men posses, the fruit and a desciple of christ!
