Feliz NAVIDAD!

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope every body is doing well! I am doing great, I had the great oppurtunity to talk to all my family! I love them so much!

This week has been a verry good week! Elder Barrientos and I are continuing to work hard. Changes are this wednesday, it is most likely that I will be leaving, but I feel like I might stay. I will be happy with whatever happens.

Christmas was awesome! It was different without snow but very good! This week we had a Multizone and were able to learn through President y Hermana Bush! The Mission presidnet is so great!

I am so excited for the new year 2017! I have so much to improve and I am looking forward to setting goals and improving! This life is the time to prepare to meet God, to prepare to live with him again.

I know that God lives! He loves us! He loves us so much that he sent his Son Jesús Christ to suffer for us! He loves us so much that he has sent us year to live on this earth to learn and grow! I know that we can do it! I love this Gospel! I am grateful for his plan and mercy.

I love you all!

"We will become Pure, even as he is Pure!"

Hey everyone! Life is going great here in Honduras! I am super excited for Christmas and the opurtunity to talk with my family!

Elder Barrientos and I are continuing to work hard! This area is so close and ready to explode! We are still working hard with Family Molina, there are super great! They have all accepted the challenge to be baptized, and we had a date for the 31 of December, but they were unable to attend church yesterday, so we are going to have to postpone it.

Yesterday was an amazing day! We had 3 lessons that were incredible. The spirit was so strong! I love the way the Spirit works! I love teaching when the spirit is present!

More then anthing today I would like to talk about Humility and Charity. I am so amazed and humbled by the cirumstances of the people here. There are many people here in Honduras, who, if I wasn´t a missionary I would never have talked to, but by talking to these people I have come to learn so much and love these people. I think that the love of God, or Charity is something very interesting. As people we have such a hard time loving all people, because we are always comparing. I think this may be the key to Charity is to let go of pride and quit comparing. God never compares, but will judge each of us according to our accions wether they were good or bad, and according to our sittuations. God loves each of us and he has Charity towards each of us. He ultimately wants each of us to become like him or better, as Gods! I hope that this can be each one of our goals as well. To lift and support and love others so they can be raised to where we are or higher!

It is my hope and prayer that each of will continually work to develop charity in our lifes, so that one day we can become pure, even us our Lord and Reedeemer is Pure! Yet, something that my Football Coach tought me, as well as is tough in the Book Of Mormon, by small and simple things are great things brought to Pass. Let us pray, read the scriptures, go to Church, participate in the Sacrement as has been tought in General Conference, and I know we will develop this great gift, even the gift of Charity, we will be Pure!

I love you all! I know God loves you! I know our dear Brother Jesus Christ loves you!

God loves us!

Hey everybody! This week was a rollercoster! On Tuesday I had one of the best days on my Mission! I was so happy, and the spirit was so strong in our lessons! We started teaching Hermana Reyes, the owner of the house we live in, and she is amazing! We tought about the resteration, and the spirit was so powerful. She has such a great desire to know the truth, and is really curious about The Book of Mormon! She has a firm believe in the Bible, and has such a strong desire to follow Christ! She is so great, and I am excited to see how she continues to progress! I know that if she continues to read the Book of Mormon and pray, God will answer her prayers!

After tuesday I had a tough week... I was a little discouraged with my progress and the progress of some investigadors. Sometimes the agency of people is so frustrating. I have trying verry hard to be more pacient and trust in God, and accept that people have agency, yet it is hard at times. But luckily, this weekend we had a Stake Conference, and had a visiting 70, Elder Glavez. Through my downs this week I was looking forward to thre revelation through the conference. I prayed so hard that God will help me, and once again, God listened! I know God answers prayers!

It was a beutiful weekend! I learned so much, and felt the spirit so strong. Elder Galvez talked a lot about the Sabath Day, and the importance of the Sacrement (Santa Cena) and Reppentence. The stake President also talked about trusting in God´s plan, trusting that he knows us perfectly. One thing that the Stake President said was that the trials we have here in this life are to help us learn something that we couldn´t learn in the premortal life!

I love this Gospel! I know that it´s true! I know Jesus Christ lives and loves us! I know that through him and his atoning sacrifice we all can be saved through Faith, Repentance, Babtism, Gift of Holy Ghost, and Enduring to the End! We can endure to end through the sacrement, and renewing our baptismal convanants, as well as the promised blessing of our savior, to always have his spirit to be with him! But the only way we can partake of the sacrement each week is if we come to church humbly having faith in our savior, and being penitent! The Gospel is simple! Christ loves us! I love you all will all my heart! I hope and pray that each of you will choose to follow Christ, and ask him how you can personally improve as an diciple of our Lord and Savior! Love you all!!!!

P.S. I hear BYU plays Wyoming! Bring it on! Too bad I´ll miss this one, but we all know who will win ;) GO COUGARS!

Hey everyone! All is well here in Honduras! The updates of this week are first, we are no longer in a trio. Elder Dacanay got transfered to another area, so it is just Elder Barrientos and I again!

This week we also had devissions, I went with Elder Chavaria! He is a great missionary and a great example! I loved spending a day with him. He is truly an amazing elder, he has had a lot of problems with health, but he has a lot of faith, and continues to work hard and trust in the Lord.

This week we also recieved the leahona of General Conference! I was so excited and have started reading the talks. I love reading the words of our prohpet and apostles in these latter days!

Other then that, we have just continued to work! We did a lot of service this week. We helped paint a house, and its been great. I love being a missionary! I love the gospel of Jesus Christ! I know this is his work! This week we were hoping we could have Familia Caballero and also there workers come to church. I fasted this week that they could find a way to close on sundays so the could put the Lord first. Then we talked to Maylin, the mom, and she told us that she was no longer going to do the taco buisness, but she was going to do something else. At first I was really sad for her, but now I think it was an answer to all of our prayers. God has a plan, and I now that all will be great!

Not everybody was able to come to church, but Delci, one of the workers, and her grandma came, as well as Nohelia and Helen the doughters of Maylin!

I love you all so much! I am greatful for this Gospel! I know that it´s true! I know God lives, I know we have a living prohpet on the earth today!

Eternal Beggining

This week has been a rolercoster! I was so pumped at the begginning of the week for all the people we had contacted the week before, but then a ton of our appointments fell throgh! It was pretty sad and hard. But I am trying to trust in Gods plan!

The update on Familia Caballero is that the 3 girls are left to live with their grandparents for december, so I probably will never see them again. It was sad, but maybe it´s good, so we can focus and help all the workers there progress.

My companions are great! We are working hard. I have truly been humbled working with them, Elder Lowder and I were very similar and worked very well together, yet Elder Dacanay and Elder Barrietos and I are all verry different, so we have all had to sacrafice and compromise. It has been a learning experience, yet I have grown so much! They have tought me so much about being happy and trusting in God, and having pacience. I love them so much!

For thanksgiving I did nothing special, but Friday we had an activity in the Church! It was lot´s of fun. There was food typical from all parts of the world, and it was all delicous! There were also some people who danced (It represented the Honduras culture perfectly). I love the food here in Honduras so much! I love Honduras!

This week here has been a little cooler, many Hondurans have been wearing jackets, its been about 80 degrees maybe high 70. But it´s also been raining a lot! I love it! Although I can´t go crazy like I would at home becuase I can´t get too wet when I am working all day haha

I love you all! I know that The God loves us and has restored his gospel anon the earth today! I know Thomas S. Monson is our living Prohpet today! I know that Jesus Christ is our brother, our savior, he loves us, he knows us, and he is consious of us! I read a talk by Dieter F. Uchtdorf, he said, "There is never a true ending, just an eternal beggining!"

I love you all! Let us take advantage of our eternal beggining this Christmas Season!

Life doesn´t slow down!

Hey everyone! Life here in Honduras just keeps going! This has been another crazy week! Tuesday Elder Barrientos and I went to work the new guys from the CCM. I went with an Elder from Guatemala. It was a lot of fun and a humbling experience yet at the same time helped me realize how far I have come. Then, Wednessday there was changes, but Elder Barrientos stayed my companion, so that´s great! I thought that that was it and we would go to work. But Wednessday we got called to go help the new elders in La Ideal close to our area. We went and helped them and then got another call from the Secrataries saying that we would be dropping off Elder Dacanay, and he would be staying with us for maybe a couble days, maybe the whole change.

So right know it is me, Elder Barrientos (from guatemala) and Elder Dacanay (From Canada, but his parents are from the philipines). We live in one of the smallest houses in the mission in Villa Florencia (smith 2)! It´s been quite an adventure. But after we all got settled in we have gone to work.

We have been working hard with familia Caballero! The mom knows that the Church is true, but is always working, so we havn´t been able to talk to her a lot. But This week we had planed to baptize the 2 girls, Helen (8) and Nohelia (11). So we continued to teach them this week, but the house is full of great future investigadors. Because they own a taco buisness, so they have a lot of workers who are in the house while we have been teaching the girls, and for the first time we were able to teach formally all the workers, they are all verry interested! It has been so great! And Nohelia is so excited and loves to share what she has learned so this helps! But then on saturday for the baptism the Dad wouldn´t keep permision for Helen, so we were only able to baptize Nohelia.

But I am so excited for the future! I feel like we can have a lot of success with all the workers in that house. There is Delci, Yadira, Ema, Favi, Hermando, Teresa! They are all so great and excited to learn more! They all committed to come to church on Sunday, but they worked saturday night until 3 in the morning, so they didn´t come, but I´m sure they will next week!

I love being a missionary! It is so much fun! I am so Happy! I know the this gospel is true! I know that the true gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth in preperation for his second coming!

I love you all!

Another Crazy Week!

Well, life continues here in Honduras! So, it turns out that my Companion Elder Lowder got a call from President Bush, and know is in the ofice. He is the General Secratary! He was super excited, and I know he will do great! He will get to drive here in Honduras... But he left this last wednessday, so I have continued with Elder Barrientos. This wednessday are changes. I am pretty sure I will stay here in smith 2, and Elder Barrientos will go back to La Ideal, and I´ll get a new companion!

But life has continued to be insane. I feel like I haven´t been working in my area varry much, I am also in La Ideal con Elder Barrientos or in divisions with Elder Chavaria or Jensen. It has been a wild work and a little overwhelñming but it´s been good! I know that everything happens for a reason!

But on a Positive note, we are going to have 2 baptisms this week! We having been working with this Family, Familia Caballero, and the parents are also working, so they can´t go to church, but there 2 doughters, Nohelia (11) and Jelen (8) have been coming and we are hoping to baptize them this week! They are super excited and love the church! I love the excitment in children!

Other then that, not a lot has happened... I am super nervous for this next change, but also really excited! I feel like this area I am in is just about to explode with baptisms!

I love this Gospel! I know that The Church of Jesus Christ has been restored onto the earth! I know that God speaks to us through revelation through his prohpets! I know the Book of Mormon is True! I know that The Bible and The Book of Mormon are meant to work toghether and support each other!

I love you all!

Life Continues!

Wow this week has been crazy... So first we will start with tuesday.

Tuesday we had divisions, which means I went to a different area with a different Elder. I went to La Ideal with Elder Flores from Peru close to chile. That was a good day, I flet really good about my spanish because I was able to talk and understand him really well the whole day. Then wednessday I worked in Smith again with Elder Lowder. Someone that we are working with is Karla. She is super great, but she has depression. She has one kid Enoch, and is living with a man, but she basically hate´s him. We are working hard with her, but she hasn´t come to chruch yet, and is struggling with trusting in God. Then, after this lesson President Bush called and said that we were going to be put into a trio with Elder Barrientos, the companion of Elder Flores, who I was on devissions with. So that night we got Elder Barrientos, and now he is with us. He is from Guatemala! He is super awesome, but really hard for me to understand. He talks super fast, and it has really humbled me, and made me realize how much work I have to do with spanish.

So basically after Wednessday I haven´t been able to work with Elder Lowder at all, wich is really sad. It is funny, becuase I prayed to God Tuesday night telling him that I felt like I had gotten to the point where I loved Elder Lowder, and learned what I needed too, and then, its like God said great, you dont need him any more. It´s kind of sad, but God has a plan. So right now Elder Lowder and I are working in three areas, Smith 1, (The area of Elder Jensen and Elder Chavaria, but Elder Jensen still cant work for 12 more days) smith 2, our area, and La Ideal 2, the area of Elder Barrientos! So it has been crazy!

But I have learned alot this week, and am loving the mission! I know this church is true! I love you all! I know God loves you!

Hola Todos! Levi has brought to my attention that I need to be more detailed in my emails, entonces here we go :)

This week has been a great week! I feel like I have learned and grown a lot. I will talk more about this at the end (I guess this is the spritual stuff that might be boring, but it´s my life right now and I love it!) But First let me explain what has happened this week.

At the first of this week I got sick for the first time. We came home tuesday night, and my stomach was feeling a little wierd, we planed, and went to bed. I tried to sleep for about an hour and a half, untill 11:30, and then it started. The rest of the night I was having diariah and throwing up until about 4. Then finally I was able to sleep until 5:35 when Elder Lowder woke me up telling me it was time to go to the gym (I don´t think I have mentioned this, but I have been going to the gym every morning for a month, and by the way I have lost 15 pounds!) But I told him I was going because I was so tired. So instead I woke up at 6:30. That day was rough because I was soooo tired, but I didn´t feel sick any more. Now, the other big news is, Elder Chavaria and Elder Jensen, the other Misionaries in Bario Smith can´t work for 10 days. This started tueday. Elder Jensen is super sick, so he can´t leave, so this week Elder Lowder and I did Divisions with them a lot. So Elder Chavaria could work.

Now, as for what´s happening with la obra misional, it´s been hard for Elder Lowder and I! We are working very hard, we are teaching, but people have there agency. One of our investigadors in particular, Marietha. Her mom is baptized, but she want´s her baptism to be her decision, she is so great! She knows the Chruch is true, but just doesn´t want to commit! But she is great, and I know she will be baptized.

Now, a little more about what my life is like. I live in an upstairs apartment where we have a 2 room house with a very small bathroom. My daily process goes as follows. I wake up at 5:35 monday-friday (This is the hardest part of the day for me) we go and lift until 7:15-7:30, and then we go back home and prepare for the day. This includes showering (I can´t sing in the shower any more because the water is too cold) and getting dressed into dress pants, a white shirt, a tie, my plack that says Elder Harmon, and then I begin studying at 8:00 (I am not perfect, so sometimes it varries, 8:10, 8:15, but I´m working on it) That goes until 9:00. For Personal study I have focused my studies in the New Testaments! I always read in the Book of Mormon, and the I study the NT. I love the NT and the great doctrines that we can learn through Christ and his Apostles! Then I study Preach My Gospel (A book to help misionaries) and study for investigadors. (Yet Sometimes I don´t do as much of this as I should. Then at 9:00 Elder Lowder and I do Companionship study. Since I am being trained their is a book we go through together to help me improve as a misionary and know what I need to be doing. Then, at 11:00 we go to work. If we have an appointment we go there, if not we go talk to people or yell Buenas outside peoples gates (Because every house in Honduras has a locked gate outside thier house). Then at 12:00 we go to eat lunch at one of the members houses with our cocinera (I love her food! Even though it´s basically the same every time, rice beans, and chicken.) Then, we walk back to our house (which is about a 10-15 minutes walk.) I then I study Spanish! For this I read the Book of Mormon in spanish and do other language studies if I have time. Then, from 2-8 we work. We teach people in appointments, or we walk and find and talk to people. Then at 8:00 we eat food. We sometimes go home and eat something or we go buy something (Usually Baliadas). Then at 9:00 we plan, then I get ready for bed and read (Right now I´m reading Jesus the Christ, or I read the Leahona) And then we go to bed at 10:30, and start over again the next day.

I love the mission! It´s interesting, I think a lot out here, but most recently I feel that more then anything the mission is an oppurtunity for us to grow personally so that we can grow and help all those in these 2 years of our mission, as well as all those throughout our whole lifes. I know that in these 3 months I have changed, and I will never be the same again! I have seen God in my life and I can´t deny it! I love this Gospel! I love you all! I hope this email is a little better :)

Love you all!

God answers Prayers!

Hey everyone! All is well here in Honduras! Not a whole lot new, just that God truly answers prayers!

I have been praying very hard for guidance in what I need to do to work hard and become the missionary that God wants me to be. At times I get frustrated  because I am trying so hard, but I feel like I´m not there, or I´m not what God deserves. As I have prayed for Guidance I bagan reading in the October Leahona, where I found 2 arcticles that I know were and are answers to my prayers! The first was "The Joy of Learning"and the second, "Turning down the heat." From these articles I learned that I need to have pacience. When cooking you can´t cook on high heat or else it won´t be cooked well on the inside, and will bear on the outside, it´s the same wit me as a missionary. I need to be pacient, and cook slower as a missionary. I have been in such a rush to learn as much as I can, when in reality, it takes time, and I just need to enjoy learnijng one step at  a time.

I love the mission! I am learning more and more each day! I know that as I do my best and am pacient with the lord I will become what he want me to become!

I love you all!

New Area (Smith 2, Villa Florencia)

This week has been a crazy week! First of last P-Day we woke up at 3 in the morning hiked coca cola, and it was so beatufil. Then tuesday Elder Lowder and I worked and also packed for our change. Then wednessday we did service! It was great to serve and help clean for a member. Then after the service we changed houses and unpacked. After this we went to work!

It was a long week though, Elder Lowder and I were both super tired, and we also had to re learn an area and get to know people again, yet it was so great! There are so many great people here in this new area, and Elder Lowder and I are extremely excited to work hard.

Today for P-Day we went to Pulahpanzak! It was super awesome! I will send some pictures!

Quick shoutout to my family! I love you all! MV Football! Keep working hard, I love you guys! BYU Football! Heard they beat Michigan State! Go Cougs! And to the everyone else who is reading this Letter! I love you all with all my heart!

I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true! I know that Joseph Smith truly did restore the Church back onto the earth again! I know that today we have a living prophet, and we have the power and authority, the same authority that John the Babtist had, as well as Jesus Christ and his 12 apostles! I testify that the Book of Mormon is true! I testify that if one reads it and prays he for himself can also know the truthfulness of the Book! I also testify that the Bible is the word of God as far as it is translated correctly! For truly Christ did walk upon the earth, and he did die for our sins and was resurected the third day! Christ lives! He loves us, and he is the only way home!

I love you all!

General Conference and First Change

Hola Todos! This week has been super great! General Conference was so amazing! I am so grateful for the opurtunity to listen to the Prophet and the Apsotles and recieve revelation from God! Some things that I have been thinking about and learned from General Conference are,

Do I truly know my savior, or do I just know about him?
I am having Joy through the Gospel and The atonement always?
Am I willing to Serve and Do God´s will?

The conference was so fantastic, and I hope and pray each one of us can take something from this conference and apply it to our loves and improve and become better Deciples of Christ.

God loves us! He Truly does! What a blessing that we have a good who cared so much about each one of us, that he created a perfect plan so we can find true happiness.

Whats new here in Honduras? Well, Elder Lowder and I have been teaching somone named Kathya! She is so great! She loves the gospel, and loves the Book of Mormon! We also found a family that is super nice! They also have such a special spirit in there home. Also onother one of our investigadors, Marietha has had a baptismal date for about a month. Her mom has already been baptized, but about 2 weeks ago they got frustrated with the church members and stopped coming to church, and they wouldn´s answer our calls. Yet, this week we got a hold of them and they came to conference, and Marietha is ready to be Baptized! God works in mysterious ways, but he is perfect!

Now the Big news! So, there is a change or Transfer every 6 weeks. But usually you will stay in an area for 2 or more changes. But my companion and I are getting transfered this change. We will just change with 2 elders in our district, because one of them, Elder Chavaria has been really sick, and the doctors said he couldn´t be in dirty areas or houses, and our area is super nice, so we are moving. So I will end my training in Via Florencia (Smith 2) with Elder Lowder instead of Baradillas (Smith 1). But we will still be in the same district and the same ward.

I love you all!!!

Jackelin (Primer Bautismal)

Basically Elder Lowder and I are working super hard! We had our first Baptism with Jackelin! She is super great and is very excited to follow Christ and gain all the blessing of the Gospel! I was blessed with the oportunity to baptize her, and it was a great experience.

Honduras

I also want to try and attempt to talk more about Honduras. Basically it´s super hot here always, and there are also some really interesting bugs. But the popular food here is calld Baleadas which basically is there normal meal, rice, beans, mantequilla (Sour Cream/Butter?) and Eggs put in a tortilla! It is delicious! I could eat them all day! I love Baleadas! They also have a soda which is called Banana and super good as well. The Bananas here are so good.

General Conference

I am so excited for General Conference! General Conference is when we have the opurtunity to listen to our Prohets and Apostles and recieve revelation of what we need to do in our lifes in this moment. In the Scriptures it says, "Wether it is from my own vocie or the voice of my servants it is the same. In other words, we nee to treat General Conference as if Jesus Christ himself was coming to speal to us. I challenge each of you to not miss out on the special opurtunity, and for those of you who are not LDS listen to the Conference and come with a question and learn a little more about what we believe, and learn for yourself if the Church is true. I am so excited for it, and I know at this time I truly need the upliftment from God!

I love you all so much!I know that the Chruch of Jesus Chrsit of Latter Day Saints is true! I know that if you are not sure, if you pray to God and ask him this varry question you can recieve an answer! God truly has restored his church on the earth again through Joseph Smith. And Today we have a living prohpet Thomas S. Monson! I know these things with all my heart, and I know God loves each of us, and desires each of us to come unto him through his Son Jesus Christ!

I love you all so much!!!

Segunda Semana

Hola Everyone! I hope everyone is having a good day! As for me it´s a great day. I love you all so much. I love it here in Honduras.

Sentimientos (Feelings)

The mission is a beautiful thing, but it is very dificult. My mind is constantly moving. Spanish is a constant struggle, but it is improving. It´s an odd thing here because at times I try to figure out how I feel, and I realize I don´t feel stressed, but I don´t feel confident and happy all the time either. This is sometihing I want to work on. I feel like I have been so focused on working hard and learning spanish that at times I forget that I´m human and not a robot. So I want to be more happy, and still be a person.

The Mission

This week Elder Lowder and I continued to work hard and learn more about our area and get to know more people. It was actually a hard week, we had some hard days because all of our appointments fell through, but we have still been blessed. Right know we havn´t been able to help the investigadors who were progressing with the Hermanas, we arent sure if they don´t want us or somethings going on. But we have found some really great new investigadors and we are working hard. There is a couple, José y Esperanza amd they have a little girl, we actually haven´t had an oppurtunity to teach them yet, but they have already come to church twice!

Other

Mostly this week I have really grown to love the Scriptures and have a great respect for Jesus Christ. I love being a missionary. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true! I know that we have a living prophet today, and he has the authority to receive reveleation from God to lead and guide the Church!

I love you all!

Ultima Semana en el CCM y Primer en el campo!

Where to begin!

CCM

The last week was about the same. It was pretty hard to leave my district, I am really going to miss those guys, but I was so excited to leave the CCM and get to the Mission field. Also some quck updates about the last week is one during sports we were just shooting around, so I aksed Elder Hughes, (the guy who is going to be a linebacker for wyoming when he gets back) if he wanted to play 1 on 1. I beat him, so he said we had to do 2 out of 3. Well, that turned in to 3 out of 5. I won the series 3-1. It was fun.

Mission Field

So, I woke up at 2:30 AM, everbody going to Honduras met in the downstairs at 3:00 AM. From there we drove a bus to the airport and flew from Guatemala to El Salvador, y from El Salvador to San Pedro. From here we went to the Banke, or the Stake Center in San Pedro. Here we had a bunch of meatings and information obout the mission. After this we were all paired with an older Elder, and went to work. I went with Elder Elmer. It was pretty awesome, we talked to some people and had one lesson with this lady let us in. I also got to ride a Rapidito (Fast little thing) It was a little tiny van, basically a taxi, and there were about 12 seats with 20 people. It was pretty crazy. The driving down here is pretty crazy. Then I went to my interview with President. After this we all went to have dinner at President Bush house. Despues that we went and slept at the AP (Asistent to Presidents) house. Then the next morning we found out wich area we would be in and who our Companion was.

My area is Smith 1, in the middle of San Pedro Sula! My Companion is Elder Lowder from Washington the State. He is a really cool guy. It´s pretty hard having a gringo, or white guy at first, because I am so tempted to speak English, but he is a great guy. We are both new to the area Smith 1, so this first week has been really interesting. I don´t know spanish, and we both don´t know any people or where we are. But it´s been good. It´s getting better. As for spanish, I can´t understand hardly anyone. Sometimes I feel like I understand a lot from one person, but then there some people, and I wonder if it is even Spanish. But it is really good. The area we are in is the the Hermanas were preveously. There was also a Baptism on Sunday. Tecnically my first baptism, but I don´t feel like it counts because I don´t really know him. It was the hermanas who tough him.

Honduras is awesome! I don´t know how to explain it. I am not good at expalining things... But it is HOT. I am always sweating. I never though the fan would be my best friend. But no joke, I take a break from study in the morning where the fan is and go to the bathroom, and imediately I am sweating. But It is great. I love the food, the people are great even though I can´t understand what they are saying half the time. I love being a misionary.

Well, I love you all! I can´t believe I am actually here! This is truly a blessing that I can be doing this work. The work of God!

Hola! Uno mas Semaña en el CCM

Wow! Time is absolutley flying! I am so excited to get to Honduras en 1 week! I do love it here, the Spirt is so strong, but I am pumbed to start the real work.

I want you all to know how much I love you, and I know God loves you. I am thankful for every one of you and the differences you all have made in my life!

As for my expereiences, I am really starting to love my District and my Companion. It is going to be hard because everyone in my distrito is going to El Salvador, except for me and Elder Funk, I´m going to Honduras, y Elder Funk is going to Guatemala. I am really going to miss all of them. I have come to love them all so much, and I have truly been blessed with Humility. It is so interesting to me, from being here I see all these people with way different backgrounds. Things that they have gone through are so different then what I have. Yet, they have a firm and strong testimony. And how it has come about may be different, yet it is similar. We all know that God is real. He loves us. We know that Jesus Christ suffered for our sinds. And we all know that the Book of Mormon is true, and Joseph Smith did indeed translated it through the power of God. And through the restauracion we have the power of god, the Sacerdocio (Priesthood) on the earth again. And we have once again a living Prohet to lead and guide us and bring others to the truthfulness of the Gospel.

Some of the people I had the hardest time with in the beginning of the CCM experience, only because they were different, I have truly come to love and respect. No body is too far gone with the wonderful blessing of the Atonement. God loves all of his children and wants them to come unto him, have faith in him, repent, be baptized, recieve the Holy Ghost, and Endure to the End. If I had all day long I would talk about this forever! And as a Missionary I have the authority to bear testimony and promise that God does indeed love all of his Children. I want so bad to explain this simple word LOVE. The power it has is exdrodanary. Imagine how much you love someone, times it by infinity, and this is the love our God has for us. So, love him back, accept him, and follow him.

I love you all. This is why a bear testimony of God. Because I know it is only through him that you can gain the highest degree of Glory in the after life. If I didn´t know these things were true, and If I didn´t love you all, first of all, I wouldn´t be here, second, I wouldn´t care about telling you all what I know or believe. But I do love you, and I do know, and I KNOW GOD LOVES YOU SO MUCH MORE!!!

Thanks again for being awesome!

Semana 3

Life is going good! The beggining of this week has been prety interesting. After being here for 3 weeks all of the Latinos left. It was pretty sad to them go after becoming such good friends with all of them, but now they are on to better things. As for me and the rest of the North Americans we have 3 more weeks here in the CCM. It´s so good though. I can´t wait to get out to the field. Today we went to Central Guatemala and we had the oppurtunity to talk with people and hand out Books of Mormon. It was pretty sweet!

I love sharing this Gospel! I know it´s true! I know that Joseph Smith did indeed restore the Gospel on the earth with the Authority and the Power of God. That Power and Authority is called the Priesthood. This is the same power Jesus Christ had while he was on the earth, and the same power the earth was created by.

I love you all!

2nd Semana in the Field!

Wow, I can not believe I have been out here for 2 weeks! It`s seems like just yesterday that I was dropped of at the air port. It`s crazy to me that it has still gone so fast even though sometimes days seem so long. The days are still the same here in the CCM, we learn all day. I go to sleep every night feeling like my head is going to explode, yet the wierdest part is it`s apsolutely amazing! I love it! Español is quite a ride. I would explain it a lot like the white roller coaster. Ups and downs the whole time :) But it`s good! It`s hard to not get discouraged sometimeswith Español because sometimes I just wish I could completely understand and speak it, but then I remember how far I`ve come. This seems to happen a lot in life. We get discouraged because we haven`t made, but it`s important for us to remember the steps we have taken to get where we are. Yes improvement is esential, but we can take it 1 day at a time. Sorry about that ramble, it was probably more for me then any one else.

I truly do love it out here! I don`t have a whole lot of cool things to tell you, but I will say that I know God is real and he is aware of each of us! He loves us all and wants to bless us. Whether we can recieve those blessings is up to us and our obedience.

Now I`m going to try to thing about some things you might be cerious about...

Food:

It`s actually really good! I have eaten basically everything. It is a little different, but It`s not bad. Also I am still just in the CCM, so we will see what happens when I get to Honduras.

Well... I´m sorry, but I can´t thing of anything exciting other then food haha. Oh, one elder in my new district is going to play football for the university of Wyoming when he gets home. His name is Elder Hughes.

I love you all! I truly mean that with all my heart. I want you all to know that I send my love, and as a representative of Jesus Christ I send his and God´s love as well! I know that they love us all so much that we can´t even imagine! Please don´t ever forget that!

"God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son."

For any father (or mother), you understand the sacrifice. For any one whose not a father or mother, you can imagine. In one of the Devotionals we watched Elder Holland said, "God sent the highest on the ladder to die so the lowest on the ladder could live." I know this is true! I am so grateful to God and our blessed brother Jesus Christ and there Sacrafice so that I could repent and be here. And know as a representative of Christ it is my duty to cry all kindred tounge and people to repentance and to be Baptized on his name so we all can be forgiven of our sins. What a blessing it is!

Let´s try this again now, I love you all! Have a fantastic week!

Primer Semana y Primer Transfer

Hola everybody! I am doing awesome! I love being a missionary. Honestly it is the best thing in the world. I am so happy! I have never fetlt the Espiritu Santo (Holy Ghost) so strong! It is amazing.

As for Guatamala CCM (MTC), it`s good, but I don`t feel a whole lot different. We hardly ever get to go outside, which is hard. But we are super busy. I just feel like I`m at a summer camp of some sort right now, but I`m sure that will change.

My daily schedule is basically;

Wake UP
Play sports
Get ready for day
Eat
Study and learn
Eat
Study and Learn
Eat
Study and Learn
Snack
Meatings
Go to bed.

As boring as it sounds it`s incredible! I am exousted, but I`m so happy, and I know this is where I need to be and I know this is where God wants me to be. I am here to submit my will to the Lords and Sacrafice everything for him and the people he loves and the people I am going to love!

When I first got here I was put into a trio with Elder Hancock and Elder Wood! Throughout the first week I came to really love them and love the people in my district. In my district we had Elder Meis who is so funny! (Mostly because he is one of those people who have such a strange personality that just makes you laugh). But with that said he works super hard. Elder pututou who is signed as a linebacker for the University of Utah. Elder Reeve. He is such a super sincere nice guy. Elder Maynez, who was my travel companion and carries such a strong spirit and has a strong testimony. Elder Jensen, who is also a super nice hardworking guy. Elder Olsen who works harder then anyone I`ve ever met. And then we have to Hermana`s (Sisters) Hermana Grifis and Hermana Harris. They work really hard on there Espanol and it seems like they almost never speak english even though Espanol is so hard. I love my District Santiago, yet yesterday I was told I would have a new companion and a new Distric. So today I move to District Pablo. I was pretty sad at first, but I know everything happens for a reason.

I know the church is True! I know that God loves each and every one of us!

PS. I can`t send pictures while I am here at the CCM... Sorry
