Hey Everyone! I hope all is going well! Life continues here in Honduras! I am doing verry well! Elder Chavarría and I have had a week full of adventure! This week there has been tons of rain, and we have gotten wet a lot. We also helped build the floor of a house in a swap. That was fun. We also got a ride in a semi-truck, and many other adventures including that I got Hopitalized and they found that I have Kidney Stones. We are working extrremely hard, and finding wonderful people who are prepared to recieve this wonderful gospel.

I love the mission so much! I feel that truly my companion and I are so blessed. Our area is so great. There is so much work to do. The members are so good to us, and we have so many great investigadores.
In these last couple days I have been reading in the Book Heleman in the Book of Mormon, and I have noticed the great danger of pride. Sometimes, when God blesses us it is so easy to forget the source of our blessings. I have noticed, that at times, even as a missionary, I sometimes am so weak and so quickly forget the Lord. As I was reading I came to realize how I need to humble myself before the Lord, and commit myself to his work. The scripture that really called my atention was Heleman 3:35, "Nevertheless they did fast and pray oft, and did wax stronger and stronger in their humility, and firmer and firmer in the faith of Christ, unto the filling their souls with joy and consolation, yea, even to the purifying and the sanctification of their hearts, which sanctification cometh because of their yielding their hearts unto God."
What I really like about this scripture is that as we truly make an effort to remember God, or as we come unto him, he will give us the help we need. And in this way our humility will increase as well as our faith and desire to follow him and keep his commandments. And this brings sanctification, purity, which is necesary to return to Gods presence, and is only possible through Christ (3 Nephi 27:19-20). And this comes through humility and yielding our hearts to God.
As Jesus Christ toguht us in D&C he said, "And if your eye be single to my glory, your whole bodies shall be filled with light, and there shall be no darkness in you; and that body which is filled with light comprehendeth all things. Therefore, sanctify yourselves that your minds become single to God, and the days will come that you shall see him; for he will unveil his face unto you, and it shall be in his own time, and in his own way, and according to his own will (D&C 88:67-78)."
And what is the Glory of God? God has said, "For behold, this is my work and my glory—to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man (Moses 1:39)."
As we humbly dedicate ourselves to our Father in Heavans work and Glory. As we work all our days to bring to pass the inmortality and eternal life of man, which is only possible through Christ and his Gospel; "that no man shall come unto the Father but by me or by my word, which is my law, saith the Lord (D&C 132:12)."
I know these things are true! I love this restored Gospel! I am so extremely thankful for our Savior Jesus Chrsit! It is my hope and prayer that we can dedicate ourselves to his work. That we can sanctify ourselves so we can return to his presence, and that we may show gratutud and humility to the great sacrifice of our redeemer Jesus Christ and our Father in Heavan! I love this work!
I love you all!
